I placed my order ages ago but I've not had any comics delivered or any email updates?
Comic release dates quoted in the original email reply are correct at the time of press, we do not email customers with updates but instead ask that you monitor the web page for changes. We do our best to update the web page where ever possible when the information is received from the publisher. Sometimes those updates are not available and you may see a comic with a release date that has passed, this does not mean the comic is in stock.
I asked for my comics to be sent as they became available but you haven't split my order?
We can only split the order where each part exceeds our £5.00 minimum order value, so if, for example, you've ordered 3 comics at £2.15 each we cannot send one at a time, nor 2 together and then the last one. For the order to be split and sent when available it has to be at least a £10.00 value before postage and packing is added.
My comics have arrived today and they are damaged, what do I do now?
Please note the damage when you sign for the parcel, this allows us to raise a claim with the Courier/Royal Mail. Where possible we will arrange to collect the damaged comics and replace with new ones, if we are unable to replace from stock we will generally refund the damaged comics. Where are my comics?
Your welcome email will have given you details of your regular shipping week .
But the scheduled shipping week has passed and I still haven’t got them?
We only process and ship your comics when there is a minimum of £5.00 worth on hand, you haven’t missed any issues, all have been filed, they will simply be sent on your next scheduled delivery week.
But your web site says that Amazing Spider-Man #999 has been released?
Sometimes, shipping dates slip and the comic doesn’t get shipped on the day it’s supposed to, if the date on the web site has passed it means we’ve not received any updates from the publisher.
What is the minimum or maximum amount of titles I can add to my subscription?
We ask that you maintain a minimum of 3 ongoing monthly titles, there is no maximum, you can order as many as you like.
I want to get my comics delivered every week/bi-weekly can I request this?
Yes we can ship weekly/bi-weekly provided the above terms & conditions are met.
I want to cancel a comic – how do I do it?
Send an email to subscriptions@forbidden-planet.co.uk with your requested cancellations and always iinclude your subscription number. We do, however, ask that customers take the issues that have already been filed for them.
I want to add a comic how do I do it?
We ask that you make all additions via our web page.
But the title I want to add doesn’t have an ‘Add to Subscription’ box to tick.
Only titles in the Advance order section of the web site have the ‘Add to Subscription’ box, titles in the Current comics section can be added but if you want the subscription to be ongoing you must add the ‘Subscription’ issue from the Advance order section of the web site remembering to tick the box if you want all future issues of the comic to be added.
I’ve lost/had stolen/got new card details how do I update them?
Again we ask that you use the web page as you can securely send us your new details. Add a title from the advance order section of the web site that you are already subscribed to, checkout and choose to pay by credit/debit card – fill in your new card details and remember to enter your subscription number when prompted – we will do the rest and send you an email notifying you of the update.
I can’t remember my subscription number?
Your subscription number is noted in your welcome email and on every address label and receipt that we send you.
I’ve moved/am moving house – how do I update my address?
Please email us at sales@forbidden-planet.co.uk with your new address and remember to include your subscription number so we can find and update your details quickly.
I’ve had a change of heart/chance of circumstance and I wish to cancel my subscription.
Please email us at sales@forbidden-planet.co.uk with your request and reasons for cancellation if possible.
You’ve sent me an email saying my payment details weren’t authorised/my card has expired, will my comics still be held and filed?
Of course, your comics can be held for a maximum of 2 months before cancellation, filing will continue as normal in this time.
I’ve haven’t received any emails confirming my subscription?
Please check your spam/junk folder and settings.
I’m going on holiday/away on business during my regular delivery week, can you hold my comics?
No problem as long as you let us know 2 weeks before we’re due to process we can hold until your next monthly delivery.
My comics turned up today by recorded delivery, don’t you email customers to let them know they are coming?
No, we only email subscription customers with a tracking number when we send by courier.
I can't find an answer to my question in the FAQ's?
